Club Internacional de Fútbol Miami Academy teams played matches against IMG Academy sides and Atlanta United Academy sides over the weekend. Six different Inter Miami CF Academy teams were victorious in their fixtures while one group was defeated.
U-19
The U-19s took on Atlanta United’s corresponding academy team and defeated them 3-2 at home in Pembroke Pines, FL. Leonardo Afonso scored a brace and Francisco Raggio added a goal of his own for Inter Miami CF.
U-17
The U-17s faced Atlanta United’s U-17 team in Pembroke Pines, FL. and won by a score of 4-1. Inter Miami CF’s goal scorers were Edison Azcona (2x) and Alexander Lozano (2x).
U-15
The U-15s were shutout at home 1-0 by Atlanta United’s U-15 team in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
U-14
The U-14s took on IMG Academy’s U-14 side and defeated them 5-0 at home in Pembroke Pines, FL. There were five different goal scorers for the team. Ezequiel Abadia, Wladimir Francis, Elijah Hicks, Juan Quevedo, and Fernando Sanchez all had one goal each.
U-13
The U-13 team won by a score of 13-2 over IMG Academy’s U-13 side in Bradenton, FL. The team’s goal scorers were Dylan Bustamante, Lukas Choux, Justin Ellis (3x), Diego Mello (2x), Mateo Pereryra, Daniel Pinter, Keshawn Pownall (3x), and Ahmed Yaqub.
U-12 White
The Inter Miami CF U-12 White team won by a score of 6-0. The goal scorers were Guy Meneus (3x), Sloan Morrison, Alexander Shaw, and Oscar Zambrano.
U-12 Black
The Inter Miami CF U-12 Black team won by a score of 5-1. The team’s goal scorers were Nash Dearmin, Leon Jacobs (2x), Nessim Jena, and Jude Royes.
