The Inter Miami CF Academy presented by Baptist Health announced today that 20 Academy players have been invited by the United States Soccer Federation to the one-day Regional Youth National Team Identification Center on Wednesday, Sept. 29.

“It is an opportunity for our players to be evaluated at the next level of the pyramid, from club fútbol to national or international fútbol,” said Academy Director Craig Dalrymple. “It’s important for the players to test themselves outside of the bubble that they work and operate within Inter Miami. To get feedback from national team staff and coaching is critical to that.”

U.S. Soccer YNT Identification Centers (IDs) are free, single-day player identification opportunities for top talents to train and play games under the direction of U.S. Soccer Talent Identification Managers, offering a pathway to potential future YNT call-ups for the players.

The U.S. Soccer Federation states, “ID's are a critical element to our Talent Identification Plan and are designed to identify and evaluate top talents for Youth National Teams, while accelerating their development in a challenging environment.”

The ID Center will be conducted while adhering to the strict U.S. Soccer Return to Play protocols regarding Covid-19.
