After another thrilling month of competition for the Inter Miami CF Academy presented by Baptist Health, it's now time to announce the young rising stars who stood out and earned Player of the Month honors for April.
To get things rolling, it is U-12 Academy player Roger Llaurado who gets the nod as player of the for the youngest age bracket.
"The performance shown by Roger during this past month was magnificent. His quality, commitment and desire to improve have paid off in every game and training session, showing a high performance. Roger is a boy with a great passion for soccer, which has led him to maintain an exemplary behavior that has helped him to achieve the goals set," said U-12 head coach Diego Garcia. "To highlight are his values of respect, humility, effort, ambition and teamwork that make him a great teammate on and off the field."
Moving onto our Academy's mid-level age groups, it is U-15 team player Zidane Cadet that is selected as Player of the Month.
"Zidane was one of the best performers at the Generation adidas Cup in our U-15s, not only contributing with goals and assists, but also with exemplary teamwork on and off the field. Zidane's performance lately have earned him a national team call up to represent the USYNT in an international tournament in Croatia later this month," highlighted U-15 head coach Pedro Cavalcanti.
Lastly, it is Nicholas Almeida from our U-17 side that earns Player of the Month honors for our Academy's eldest age groups.
"Nick's performance this past month showcased his remarkable growth as a player. Embracing increased leadership roles, he's exemplified a professional approach this semester. Dominating at the Generation adidas Cup and securing a spot on the USYNT U-17 team, his talent and dedication are truly commendable," detailed U-17 head coach Chris O'Neal.
