The Inter Miami CF Academy presented by Baptist Health announced today updates to the coaching staff of its eight youth teams across seven different age groups from U-12 through U-19 that are currently in season.
Notably, two coaches received promotions to new age groups. Former Academy U-16 head coach Ihor Dotsenko has now taken the mantle of U-17 head coach. Alex Kuehl, meanwhile, who had been serving the role of U-15 team assistant coach this season, took charge of the U-16 team.
Elsewhere, Tyrone Mears and Chris Nurse have been hired with part-time dual roles, with Mears’ main role being as assistant coach for the U-17 team and Nurse’s being as assistant coach for the U-15 side.
