After another thrilling month of competition for the Inter Miami CF Academy presented by Baptist Health, we’ll now take a look at three young rising stars who stood out and earned Player of the Month honors for their performances in October.
First off, it is U-12 player Romeo Rodriguez who gets the nod as the Player of the Month for our Academy’s youngest age bracket.
”Romeo has shown a highly competitive level in all training sessions and matches played. His attitude and values have been exemplary, always showing commitment, attention, respect, personal effort, and mutual help to all his teammates, said U-12 head coach Diego Garcia. “Romeo has been very involved with the team in all phases of the game and has shown consistency in his performance.”
Moving on, U-15 defender Jelani Bradshaw is picked as Player of the Month for our mid-level age groups.
"Jelani was a fundamental player for our success during the month of October. He started and played most minutes as a center back and due to his defensive discipline and game understanding, he was instrumental for us to get 3 clean sheets in a row against MLS opponents. He has also shown significant improvement in his areas of focus such as passing under pressure and 1v1 defending," detailed U-15 team head coach Pedro Cavalcanti.
Lastly, it is U-19 goalkeeper Brett Kaminski who earns Player of the Month honors for the Academy's eldest sides due to his stellar performances during October.
"Brett was a key player for the team in October. He's contributed three shutouts in the last four games and the team has only conceded once in that time," said U-19 head coach Giuseppe DePalo,
