Inter Miami CF defender / midfielder Joevin Jones has been called up to the Trinidad & Tobago national team ahead of the team’s upcoming FIFA World Cup Qualifying matches.
Jones will be joining his national team for the FIFA World Cup Qualifying match against the Bahamas on Saturday, June 5 at 5 p.m. ET at Thomas Robinson Stadium in Nassau, Bahamas. The team will then travel to Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic for its second qualifying match against the Saint Kitts and Nevis national team on Tuesday, June 8 at 5 p.m. ET at Estadio Alterno del Centro Olímpico Juan Pablo Duarte to conclude its competition in June.
Jones has been a prominent player for the Soca Warriors, making 78 appearances for Trinidad & Tobago. He has participated in several competitive competitions such as the Gold Cup, Caribbean Cup, and the Concacaf Nations League and international tournament qualifiers.
