Inter Miami CF attacker Facundo FarÃas has been called to represent the Argentina U-23 Men’s National Team for two upcoming international friendlies this November international window.Â
FarÃas and Argentina will travel to Japan to face Japan’s U-23 national team in a set of friendlies as the team prepares for CONMEBOL’s 2024 Pre-Olympic Tournament set to take place next year in Venezuela from Jan. 20 to Feb. 11. Argentina and Japan will first play on Saturday, Nov. 18, and then on Wednesday, Nov. 22Â
FarÃas was most recently called up to represent the Argentina U-23 side last month in two friendly fixtures against Venezuela’s U-23 team. FarÃas played in one of the matches, appearing as a starter on Saturday, Oct. 14, and helping Argentina secure a 1-1 draw.
At club level, FarÃas joined Inter Miami over the summer and became a valuable asset for Inter Miami’s attack in his first half season with the team. The 21-year-old versatile midfielder helped Inter Miami win the 2023 Leagues Cup to clinch the first trophy for the First Team in Club history and made 14 appearances, picking up three goals and three assists in the process.
