Inter Miami CF attacker Facundo Farías has been called up to represent the Argentina U-23 Men’s National Team for two upcoming international friendlies this December.
Farías and Argentina will host Ecuador’s U-23 national team in a set of friendlies as the team prepares for CONMEBOL’s 2024 Pre-Olympic Tournament, which is set to start in Venezuela In January of next year. La Albiceleste and Ecuador will first play on Thursday, Dec. 14 at Estadio Ciudad de Caseros in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and then on Sunday, Dec. 17 at Estadio Centenario Ciudad de Quilmes in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Farías was most recently called up to represent the Argentina U-23 side in October in two friendly fixtures against Venezuela U-23 team. Farías played in one of the matches, appearing as a starter on Saturday, Oct. 14, and helping Argentina secure a 1-1 draw.
At the club level, Farías joined Inter Miami over the summer and became a valuable asset for Inter Miami’s attack in his first half season with the team. The 21-year-old versatile midfielder made 13 appearances for the team across all competitions, picking up three goals and three assists in the process.
