A combined team of Inter Miami CF Academy’s U-12 and U-13 players will be traveling to Orlando, Florida to compete in the sixth LaLiga Promises Santander International Tournament. The tournament taking place at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex from June 24 through 26 will see the Inter Miami CF Academy groups join forces to face national and international competition.
Among the tournaments' participating international clubs are a number of Spanish powerhouses:
- Real Madrid
- Real Betis
- Sevilla FC
- Villarreal CF
- Atletico Madrid
- Valencia CF
- FC Barcelona
The tournament will also showcase academies from the US and Mexico, including:Â
- FC Dallas
- IdeaSport Soccer Academy
- CD Guadalajara
- Atlas FC
Inter Miami CF was placed in Group A alongside Real Betis and Real Madrid. Our Academy's team will first face Real Betis in its opening match in the competition at 10:30 a.m. ET game on Friday, 17. Subsequently, the team will take on Real Madrid at 11:00 a.m. ET on Saturday, June 18.
Following the group stage, the top two teams from each of the four groups will advance to the knockouts stages of the tournament, which will start with the Quarterfinals on Saturday, June 25.
