Inter Miami CF fans will be part of the team’s preseason preparations leading up to its 2022 season opener on Feb. 26, as the First Team will be hosting an open training session this Saturday, Feb. 5 at DRV PNK Stadium. Witness head coach Phil Neville and Inter Miami players up close in action, as they will be welcoming fans, the Heartbeat of the club, in a special afternoon of fútbol and fun.
Get a close look at the new and revamped squad for 2022 at the exclusive event, among them the club’s newest and exciting additions. The new players on the roster include Jean Mota, a 28-year-old midfielder with more than 250 matches under his belt at South American powerhouse Santos FC, Christopher McVey, a versatile defender with experience in European competition, Damion Lowe, a Jamaican international captain, Emerson Rodríguez, a Colombian U22 Initiative signing, Leonardo Campana, a young Ecuadorian international coming from the English Premier League, and Bolivian international center back Jairo Quinteros, who joined the club’s First Team following a two-year loan. The team also added a number of players with MLS experience, including Bryce Duke, a promising young midfielder, Mo Adams, a versatile midfielder with a history of MLS success, Ariel Lassiter, a Costa Rican national team winger, and Clément Diop, a goalkeeper with Senegalese national team experience, and has promoted from within the club, including the signings of 2021 Fort Lauderdale CF standouts George Acosta and Aimé Mabika. Fans will also be greeted by a number of familiar faces, as Edison Azcona, Drake Callender, Ian Fray, Gregore, Kieran Gibbs, Gonzalo Higuaín, Nick Marsman, Robbie Robinson, Brek Shea and Victor Ulloa are amongst the team’s ranks for another season.
The event will begin at 3:45 p.m. ET with player walk outs and remarks. Open training will kick off promptly at 4 p.m. ET. Gates open at 3 p.m. ET.
