Today, Inter Miami CF announced details for Mental Health Awareness Night presented by Baptist Health, for the Club’s home match against the New England Revolution on Saturday, May 13 at 7:30 p.m. ET.
During Mental Health Awareness Month, Inter Miami CF and Baptist Health are teaming up to raise awareness about the importance of mental health and its impact on our overall well-being. Baptist Health provides the community access to a resource page that serves as a hub for a wide range of health topics including mental health, nutrition, exercise, and physician talks. “Baptist Health is proud to be the presenting partner of Mental Health Awareness night” said Javier Hernandez-Lichtl, CEO of Doctors Hospital and Baptist Health Orthopedic Institute. “At Baptist Health, we recognize the importance of mental health, not only across our organization, but within our entire South Florida community. We are fortunate to partner with a great organization like Inter Miami CF on this campaign to continue raising awareness on and off the pitch.”
Fans are encouraged to arrive early, the first 7,000 fans to arrive at the gates will receive a co-branded Inter Miami CF and Baptist Health rally towel. In addition, the Baptist Health Community Team will also be activating pre-game in the Baptist Health Fan Zone, with a variety of engaging activities/games, mental health awareness initiative education, and complimentary giveaways to fans.
The organizations will also place an emphasis on celebrating the conclusion of National Nurses Week and the amazing work nurses do for our communities. The Inter Miami CF First Team will visit Boca Raton Regional Hospital, on Wednesday, May 3, to begin the celebration.
As part of Baptist Health's community efforts, for each corner kick taken throughout the season, Inter Miami CF makes a donation that is shared by Baptist Health Foundation and the Inter Miami CF Foundation. Together they have raised over $20,000 benefitting the foundations. On Saturday, May 13, a check from the 2022 season donations will be presented to the Baptist Health Foundation at halftime.
