Inter Miami CF Announces Women in Sports Panel Set for April 2

To celebrate Women’s History Month, Inter Miami CF announced a Women in Sports Panel featuring four game changers within the Inter Miami CF family. The panel discussion and networking event will kick off a ‘double header’ per say with the event leading right into the Inter Miami CF match against the Houston Dynamo on April 2 which will kick off at 8 p.m. ET.

The panel discussion and networking event will begin at 4:30 p.m. ET in the XBTO North West Club at DRV PNK Stadium. The discussion will feature the following Inter Miami CF team members:

  • Kaitlyn Stolzenberg - Human Resources Business Partner
  • Lauren Markwith - Digital Coordinator
  • Meghan Cameron - Director of Player Personnel & Compliance
  • Jennifer Asuaje - Head Academy Athletic Trainer

Kaitlyn Stolzenberg

Kaitlyn Stolzenberg is the Human Resources Business Partner at Inter Miami CF. She partners with the organization in all aspects of Human Resources, which consists of talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation, benefits, development, compliance, organizational structure and more.

Stolzenberg earned her undergraduate degree in 2016 from Florida State University in Sports Management. Prior to continuing her education, she worked in Community Relations for the Miami Dolphins and the Washington Kastles, a pro tennis team located in Washington D.C. Later in 2016, she went back to study at Florida International University, where she earned a Masters degree in Human Resource Management.

While achieving her Masters degree, Stolzenberg interned for the Miami Marlins, where she secured a full time job post graduation. After leaving the Marlins, she took a brief hiatus from working in Sports and began working for the Royal Caribbean Group. While at RCG, she oversaw their Finance Rotational Program, then transitioned to their Human Resources team overseeing one of their brands.

Lauren Markwith

As digital coordinator of Inter Miami CF, Lauren Markwith runs Inter Miami CF II and Inter Miami CF Academy’s social media accounts while also assisting with first team social channels. Markwith’s creative approach to creating engaging and unique content for Inter Miami CF social channels showcases the Inter Miami CF brand to fans in South Florida, throughout the United States and the globe.

Prior to joining Inter Miami CF, Markwith was a student athlete at the University of Miami. During her time playing women’s soccer for the Canes, she also participated at the national level for The Guatemalan Women’s National Team.

Markwith earned a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Broadcast Journalism from The University of Miami and earned her master’s in science in Sports Administration becoming the Harry Mallios Award Winner Sport Industry Pro-Gram Recipient from The University of Miami.

Outside of the office, Markwith spends time color commentating for women’s soccer entities including the University of Miami and the National Women’s Soccer League. When she is not watching soccer or calling games, Markwith is probably playing a pickup match with her friends!

Meghan Cameron

Meghan Cameron was hired as the Club’s Director of Player Personnel and Compliance in September 2021. Cameron joined from Sporting Kansas City, where she served as an Assistant Director of Player Personnel from Dec. 2017 to Sept. 2021; the team topped the Western Conference twice during her time there.

Cameron boasts an extensive career within Major League Soccer (MLS), working in positions across the league for over a decade. In addition to working for Kansas, she was also a Senior Manager of Player Personnel & Competition for MLS, a position she held since Jul. 2010.

Cameron brings a wealth of knowledge and professional experience from her previous role as Senior Manager, Player Relations at Major League Soccer. She had worked within the Player Relations and Competition Department since 2010, helping all MLS clubs manage their respective rosters and budgets. She also approved player acquisitions, trades and oversaw the League’s competition calendar.

While at MLS, Cameron coordinated a variety of player initiatives, including the annual Media and Marketing Tour, the Rookie Symposium and numerous events at the MLS All-Star Game and MLS Homegrown Game. At the international level, she facilitated youth coaching partnerships with Spain’s La Liga and the French Football Federation. Prior to joining MLS, Cameron was a member of the D.C. United sales team from 2005-2008.

Cameron, a native of Roxbury Township, New Jersey, also played collegiate soccer at Rutgers University. She helped the Scarlet Knights reach the Sweet 16 of the 2002 NCAA Tournament and received Big East Academic All-American honors in 2004. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications in 2005.

Jennifer Asuaje

As Head Academy Athletic Trainer at Inter Miami CF, Jennifer Asuaje oversees our U12 to U17 academy teams. Asuaje has been with Inter Miami CF since October 2019, where she has helped build a foundation for the Academy’s inaugural year. Asuaje’s main goal is the health and safety of all youth players within the Academy.

Prior to joining Inter Miami CF, Asuaje worked with indoor and outdoor track and field, as well as men’s soccer at Lock Haven University. After leaving the collegiate setting, Asuaje was a high school Athletic Trainer for 4 years in Broward County. For two years, she also worked with the Olympic Development Program (ODP) where she worked with the West Region and internationally.

Asuaje is a graduate of Nova Southeastern University, where she played Division II soccer. She continued her education at California University of Pennsylvania where she received her Master’s in Exercise Science and Health Promotion. She made her way back to South Florida, where she lives with her husband and French Bulldog.
