Inter Miami CF announced today that renowned defender and three-time FA Cup champion Kieran Gibbs is set to become an On-Air Talent as the host of The Inter Miami Show and other key content pieces on Inter Miami’s Club Room available on Apple TV. Gibbs will be providing his impressive knowledge and experience of the game and will be joined by former Inter Miami CF play-by-play commentator and current Apple TV talent Chris Wittyngham, offering fans an insight into the team’s weekly news, previews the upcoming match and highlights the key storylines in and around the team.
As a result of this opportunity, Inter Miami and Gibbs have agreed to mutually terminate the player’s contract.
“I’m delighted to have transitioned into this new exciting role as Inter Miami’s Club On-Air Talent, and I’m looking forward to this great opportunity to share my experience and insight of the Club through the amazing content that will be available on Apple TV,” said Gibbs.
Gibbs joined the Club halfway through the 2021 season after making over 300 appearances across all competitions and representing the England national team in 14 seasons playing abroad, primarily with Arsenal FC in the English Premier League. The 33-year-old Lambeth, London native featured for the Club in the 2021 and 2022 MLS seasons.
