Inter Miami CF’s exciting fifth season in the league continues inching closer, and fans can now get a glimpse of how the Club’s 2024 Major League Soccer (MLS) regular season will shape up after the team’s official schedule for the campaign was announced!
Season Ticket Members will have the first access to purchase single-match tickets for 2024 MLS regular season home matches, followed by Deposit Holders, and then the general public. The Season Ticket Member presale window will open this Thursday, Dec. 21 at 9 a.m. ET, while the presale window for Deposit Holders will open later that day at 1 p.m. ET. Tickets will then go on sale to the general public on Friday, Dec. 22 at 10 a.m. ET while supplies last.
Below we break down 10 things all Inter Miami fans need to know about Inter Miami’s 34-game regular season schedule as they gear up for 2024.
Kicking Off MLS in South Florida
For a fourth consecutive season, Inter Miami will get the season rolling in its home ground in South Florida after hosting LA Galaxy (2021), Chicago Fire FC (2022) and CF Montréal (2023) at DRV PNK Stadium in the team’s three most recent season openers. This time, the opponent will be Real Salt Lake on Wednesday, Feb. 21, with the teams set to face off to kick off the 2024 MLS regular season in what will notably be the first-ever matchup between the sides.
Pack Your Bags
Inter Miami’s first road trip of the 2024 regular season will come quick on Matchday 2, with the team scheduled to travel to Carson, California to visit LA Galaxy on Sunday, Feb. 25 for its first of 17 road games throughout the campaign. The matchup will also see Inter Miami visit the Galaxy’s Dignity Health Sports Park for the first time.
Rivals Visit DRV PNK Stadium
Matchday 3 will present fans with another thrilling edition of the Florida rivalry when Orlando City SC travels south for the game at DRV PNK Stadium on Saturday, March 2. It will be the first of two matchups between the sides in the 2024 MLS regular season before the matchup at Exploria Stadium set for Wednesday, May 15.
New Foes
The 2024 regular season will see the team take on three new foes. In addition to the previously mentioned RSL, Inter Miami will be taking on a new face on Saturday, April 6, when DRV PNK Stadium hosts the showdown against the Colorado Rapids and on Saturday, May 25, when the boys will head up north to Canada to take on the Vancouver Whitecaps FC at BC Place. Additionally, the Club will also host 2023 MLS expansion side St. Louis CITY SC for the first time on Saturday, June 1.
Stars Aligning in South Florida
The stars will align in South Florida the weekend of May 3 to 5! First, Inter Miami will host the New York Red Bulls for 2024 MLS regular season action on Saturday, May 4. Subsequently, Formula 1 will be returning to the Sunshine State for the third edition of the Miami Grand Prix. The 2024 Miami Grand Prix is set to take place on Sunday, May 5 at the Miami International Autodrome located around Hard Rock Stadium. Don’t miss out!
First Time Visits
The 2024 regular season will see Inter Miami visit uncharted waters on three occasions: when the team visits LA Galaxy’s Dignity Health Sports Park on Sunday, Feb. 25, when it travels to face Sporting Kansas City at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium on Saturday, April 13, and Vancouver Whitecaps FC’s BC Place on Saturday, May 25.
Reigning Champions Clashes
DRV PNK Stadium will see the clash of champions, as the Leagues Cup champion will be hosting both 2023 MLS silverware holders. First, the team is set to take on reigning MLS Cup winner Columbus Crew on Wednesday, June 19, before Supporters’s Shield champions FC Cincinnati make the trip to South Florida for the game scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 24.
Leagues Cup Break
The Leagues Cup action returns in the summer! After the inaugural edition of the Leagues Cup in 2023 in which Inter Miami clinched the Club’s historic first official piece of silverware, the Herons will look to defend its title when the MLS regular season action officially pauses from July 26 to Aug. 25 for the second edition of the international competition.
2024 Decision Day
The Club will once again pull the curtain on an exciting campaign with a home fixture in 2024 when the team hosts the New England Revolution on Saturday, Oct. 19. The Herons will aim to replicate the results from the Revs’ two most recent visits to DRV PNK Stadium, with the team defeating New England 3-2 in April 2022 and then winning 2-1 in May 2023.
2024 MLS Cup presented by Audi
Once another regular season is etched into the history records, the road to crown the 2024 MLS Cup champions will begin with the thrilling MLS Cup Playoffs. All roads will lead to the 2024 MLS Cup presented by Audi, which is set to take place on Saturday, Dec. 7, with hosting rights awarded to the competing team with the better regular season record.
