Inter Miami CF announced today that Season Ticket Members will receive a priority window for the dedicated Inter Miami section for the Club’s 2023 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup Third Round away match against Miami FC on Wednesday, April 23. Kickoff at FIU Football Stadium is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET.
Season Ticket Members will receive an email from members@intermiamicf.com today at 2:30 p.m. ET with the ticketing information for this special exclusive window available now and that will close on Wednesday, April 12 at 3 p.m. ET. Be on the lookout for this information to join La Familia in supporting Inter Miami at FIU Football Stadium in the much-anticipated match - where the team will face local foes Miami FC in an official match for the second time ever. Tickets in the Inter Miami section are very limited so don’t miss out!
Single-match tickets for the first half of the 2023 MLS regular season at DRV PNK Stadium are available now by visiting here. The only way fans can currently secure tickets for the second half of Inter Miami’s campaign is by purchasing Season Tickets, through which fans will receive tickets to 19 matches this season for the price of 17. Following the end of the priority window at 3 p.m. ET on April 12, if tickets remain in the dedicated Inter Miami section, non-Season Ticket Members registered in the Club’s database will receive an email with ticketing information to join La Familia in supporting the team from the stands in the 2023 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup Third Round away match.

About the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup
The Lamar Hunt U.S Open Cup is a knockout competition that crowns the top fútbol club in the United States. The tournament was first named as an annual championship at the end of the 1913-14 season. Teams from any division in the country can compete in the tournament, such as MLS teams, MLS NEXT Pro teams, USL teams, NPSL teams, and amateur teams.
The Lamar Hunt U.S Open Cup operates similarly to other domestic cups worldwide such as, the FA Cup in England, the Copa Del Rey in Spain, the Coppa Italia in Italy, and the DFB-Pokal in Germany.
What happens if Inter Miami wins in the Third Round?
As mentioned above, the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup is a single-elimination tournament, so participating teams play until they lose. If Inter Miami wins its Third Round matchup, the team will advance to the Round of 32 set to be played on May 23 and 24, and face an opponent that will be determined in a draw on April 27.
What is at stake?
The 2023 U.S. Open Cup winner will earn $300,000 in prize money, a berth in the 2024 Concacaf Champions League and have its name engraved on the Dewar Challenge Trophy – one of the oldest nationally-contested trophies in American team sports – now on permanent display at the National Soccer Hall of Fame in Frisco, Texas. The runner-up will earn $100,000, while the team that advances the furthest from each lower division will take home a $25,000 cash prize.
