Inter Miami CF II (7W-3D-7L, 25 points) returns home this Sunday, Aug. 7 at 7 p.m. ET to face New England Revolution II at DRV PNK Stadium. The match will be streamed live on MLSNEXTPro.com
“When you put it in the context of the league standings, it's a very, very important game, but we'll just focus on making sure we continue to improve. New England's a very good team over the past couple of years, we’ve had some really good contests and I don't anticipate Sunday being any different,” said head coach Darren Powell.
Inter Miami II enters the match on a five-match unbeaten run, most recently claiming a come-from-behind road draw and additional point from a penalty shootout win against FC Cincinnati 2. Dairon Reyes scored his first goal of the season in the match, while Noah Allen registered an assist for the second consecutive match.

New England enters the match coming off of a 0-2 home loss to Toronto FC II last Sunday. So far this season, the team has compiled a record of seven wins, four draws and six losses for a total of 26 points, currently placing them fifth in the MLS NEXT Pro Eastern Conference Standings.
