The team is now entering its fourth season in existence as Inter Miami CF’s lower division affiliate and second season in MLS NEXT Pro and is slated to play 28 regular season matches in 2023.
The team, which is now managed by former assistant coach Federico Higuaín, recently announced its full technical staff for the campaign, with the addition of Assistant Head Coach Cristian Ledesma and the return of Goalkeeper Coach Chris Barocas.
“We’re very excited to kick off our second season in MLS NEXT Pro,” said head coach Federico Higuaín. “We’re looking forward to taking the opportunity to continue developing our players in a highly competitive environment. We hope to continue to help players reach the First Team level and be a competitive team in our division.”
Inter Miami II will look to build onto a strong campaign in 2022 after finishing tenth with 35 points and will aim to advance to playoffs. Chicago's second team, meanwhile, finished in fifteenth place with 29 points last year.
