Inter Miami CF is preparing to welcome Major League Rugby here in South Florida with Miami Sharks Rugby Club kicking off their 2024 inaugural season at the Sports Field at the Florida Blue Training Center.
The Sharks are coming!
Their highly anticipated inaugural match is set to kickoff on Sunday, March 3 at 5:30 p.m. ET in a matchup against the Chicago Hounds at the Sports Field, located inside of the Inter Miami CF facilities. The Sharks will be playing a total of 16 regular season fixtures, eight at home and eight on the road. They are set to conclude their season against their debut opponent, the Chicago Hounds, on June 29 at the SeatGeek Stadium. Don’t miss out on this historic night!

Major League Rugby steps up their game bringing professional rugby for the first time right here in the home of Inter Miami CF as the partnership highlights Inter Miami CF‘s dedication to fostering the growth of local sports in South Florida.
With this partnership, a team outside the Inter Miami fútbol family will now have daily access to the Herons’ top-tier training facility for the first time ever. Miami Sharks Rugby Club, the newest Major League Rugby franchise, will begin competing during the 2024 Major League Rugby (MLR) season as the league will be entering its sixth season having expanded from seven teams in 2018 to 12 teams in 2023, featuring 11 from the United States and one from Canada.
