Hurricanes Football Preparing for 2023
The event, which will mark the conclusion of the Hurricanes’ 2023 spring football schedule, will see the Hurricanes test themselves in an intrasquad game.
The team’s regular season will begin on Friday, Sept. 1 when the team takes on the Miami (Ohio) University RedHawks at Hard Rock Stadium. The team will once again be led by head coach and South Florida native Mario Cristobal, a two-time national champion with the program as a player.
The Hurricanes will enter 2023 after securing the No. 7 recruiting class in the nation, per 247 Sports. The Spring Game at DRV PNK Stadium will offer fans their first chance to see the team’s exciting new talent in person.
Inter Miami and the Miami Hurricanes
The Spring Game will see Inter Miami once again welcome the University of Miami to its facilities. Earlier this month, at halftime of an Inter Miami home match, members of the school’s men’s and women’s basketball teams were celebrated on the field following their historic NCAA Tournament runs to the Final Four and Elite Eight respectively.
Last year, DRV PNK Stadium hosted the 2022 edition of the Spring Game which saw the event sold out, and witnessed a slew of Miami Hurricanes legends in attendance, including Antrel Rolle, Bryant McKinnie, Chuck Foreman and Jaelan Phillips.
