- Tonight, Inter Miami and the Columbus Crew will be clashing for a second and final time this 2023 regular season. Inter Miami will aim for another positive result after earning a 1-2 road win against the Crew in April.
- Defender Ryan Sailor returns to a matchday squad after recovering from injury and will start tonight’s game as a substitute.
- Inter Miami signed defender Tyler Hall and midfielder Lawson Sunderland on short-term agreements from the Club’s MLS NEXT Pro team, Inter Miami CF II, and both players will start the matchup on the bench.
- Columbus Crew, meanwhile, enters the fixture in South Florida after earning a 2-1 win at home over the New York Red Bulls over the weekend. Overall in the 2023 MLS regular season, the Crew have a record of ten wins, six losses and four draws for a total of 34 points and currently sit fourth in the Eastern Conference standings. Midfielder Lucas Zelarayán has been the team's leader this campaign, with eight goals and seven assists to his name.
- The Independence Day matchup against the Crew will also feature Military Appreciation night, an opportunity for Inter Miami CF to honor the everyday sacrifices of service men and women in South Florida and across the United States.
- Inter Miami will wear the 2023 Americana Captain America-themed top during warm-ups ahead of kick-off.
