Notes:
- After the mid-week festivities for the 2022 MLS All-Star Week, Inter Miami CF (8W-10L-6D, 30 points) carries on with MLS regular season action at home tonight hosting New York City FC (12W-5L-6D, 42 points) at 8 p.m. ET at DRV PNK Stadium. With six players and a coach being selected for All-Star Week events, Inter Miami enjoyed an action packed 2022 All-Star Week. Inter Miami defender DeAndre Yedlin spearheaded the club’s representation at MLS All-Star Week, coming on at the half and playing 45 minutes as the MLS All-Stars topped the Liga MS’s All-Stars 2-1 in the 2022 MLS All-Star Game presented by Target. - Inter Miami returns home after earning a hard-fought 2-2 draw against CF Montréal at Stade Caputo on Aug. 6. Gonzalo Higuaín netted in the first half, second-half substitute Emerson Rodríguez scored a late equalizer and midfielder Bryce Duke earned Heineken Man of the Match honors, claiming a point in Montreal to close-out the team’s longest road trip of the season with a total of four points from its two away games last week.
- Tonight’s fixture will see Inter Miami and NYCFC clash for the second and final time in the 2022 regular season and overall sixth time in club history. Inter Miami will aim to claim its first victory over the New York-based side, while also seeking to extend its current positive stretch playing at home as the team has fallen only once in its past 10 home games across all competitions.
- Defender / midfielder Brek Shea returns to a First Team matchday squad for the first time since the match against LAFC on March 12 after recovering from an injury.
- Defenders Kieran Gibbs and Damion Lowe return to the starting XI for tonight’s game at DRV PNK Stadium.
- The match will be broadcast regionally on My33, UniMás and the Inter Miami app, and on the radio locally on 790 AM The Ticket. Fans worldwide can follow live updates including video highlights and stats on the Club’s App. Download and Register your Profile here: https://intermiami.app.link/App.
