Inter Miami is set to close the week with MLS action on Sunday, April 24, hosting Atlanta United at DRV PNK Stadium. Ahead of the upcoming fixture, midfielder Robert Taylor and head coach Phil Neville addressed the media.

Taylor highlighted the importance of the club's current winning streak on the team’s attitudes, and emphasized that the squad aims to continue that positive momentum over the weekend.

“It’s a better atmosphere around the training ground and everyone seems to be a little bit happier of course. It can only last as long as we keep on trying our best every game,” he said.

“I’m happy that I’m getting to play a lot, getting my fitness up and getting my sharpness back, and I feel good at the moment. I just want to improve every game.”

The versatile attacker also touched upon his appreciation for La Familia, one of the standout attributes of life in South Florida since joining the club.

“I love MLS. The fans [support us in] every game we go to away, at home there’s lots of fans and the atmosphere is great,” said Taylor. “The game level is high, you have just unbelievable players playing against you and with you, so it’s very positive at the moment.”

Neville, meanwhile, previewed the upcoming match, recalling last year’s fixtures and emphasized the team’s desire to win another three points.

“We want to be a hard team to beat and Sunday could be a first for us, it would be the first time this franchise has ever won four games on the run, so there’s a lot of challenges and aims in front of us, but keeping clean sheets is the foundation for any success,” commented Neville.

“I think [Atlanta is] a team who like to dominate possession because they’ve got such technical players. We played them three times last season and I think they were three of my most enjoyable games… I thought they were really fantastic games and you saw their quality. You switch off for a minute and they will punish you, you switch off for a minute they will counterattack with the speed and quality that they got so I think we’ve got to defend really well.”
