Inter Miami CF has wrapped up the 2022 MLS regular season, finishing in sixth position in the Easter Conference standings, and will face New York City FC in Round One of the Audi 2022 MLS Cup Playoffs. Here’s the team’s schedule as it prepares to make its second trip to the postseason in only its third year of existence.
Monday - Off
The team took Monday off to rest and recuperate following Sunday’s match.
Tuesday - Off; Autonation DRV PNK Across America Day
As the team continues its recovery sessions, Inter Miami CF and DRV PNK Stadium hosts AutoNation and its associates and partners on DRV PNK Across America Day. The annual event sees representatives from AutoNation, Inter Miami, Miami Dolphins, Miami Marlins and the Orange Bowl put together comfort bags for patients undergoing cancer treatment.
The comfort bag packing event will take place in the XBTO NW Club, and will feature appearances by defender Aime Mabika, forward Robbie Robinson, and Inter Miami CF Chief Business Officer Xavier Asensi.
Wednesday - Training; Heron Talk: Phil Neville, Ariel Lassiter
The squad begins preparations for its playoff match against New York City FC at the Florida Blue Training Center. Head coach Phil Neville and attacker Ariel Lassiter will meet with media members to preview the match. The press conference will take place at 12 p.m. ET, and will be streamed on the Inter Miami app. Neville and Lassiter’s comments will also be available on the Club’s Twitter, Instagram and Facebook pages.
Thursday - Training
Neville and the technical staff continue to put the team through its paces, as preparations to face NYCFC continue.
Friday - Off
The team gets a well-deserved rest day ahead of the weekend’s final training sessions.
Saturday - Training; Travel to New York
The team holds one more training session at the Florida Blue Training Center on Saturday morning before traveling to face New York.
Sunday - Training
Inter Miami’s final training session ahead of their first playoff game will be held on Sunday, in New York.

Inter Miami CF faces New York City FC at Citi Field in Round One of the Audi 2022 MLS Cup Playoffs. The match kicks off at 7 p.m. ET, and can be viewed nationally on FS1 and FOX Deportes. Inter Miami last faced NYCFC on Aug. 13 at DRV PNK Stadium, beating the Northeastern outfit in a thrilling 3-2 victory with a goal from Ariel Lassiter, and a brace from 2020 Landon Donovan MVP Alejandro Pozuelo.
