Attacker Indiana Vassilev and midfielder Bryce Duke have been named to Team of the Week presented by Audi for MLS Week 16 after their stellar performances in Inter Miami’s 2-1 victory over Minnesota United FC on Saturday night at DRV PNK Stadium.
Vassilev was named to the starting XI after becoming the first player in MLS history to score both a game-tying and game-winning goal after entering the game in the 80th minute or later.
Vassilev was also named Heineken Man of the Match for his late-game heroics.
Duke, meanwhile, was named to the bench after notching an assist in the 87th minute on a perfectly weighted pass to Vassilev, to tie the game at 1-1. In addition to the assist, the midfielder contributed five key passes, five ball recoveries, nine duels won, and won both of his tackles.
