The team holds its destiny in its own hands, with one simple scenario existing that will give the team the necessary breathing room to secure its place above the playoff line with one match remaining. It’s a straightforward scenario, but an Inter Miami win over Orlando City SC on Wednesday will guarantee the team’s spot in the 2022 postseason.
If the team doesn’t take three points on Wednesday, it will still have another opportunity to earn its place in the playoffs on Sunday with its Decision Day matchup against CF Montréal at DRV PNK Stadium at 2:30 p.m. ET.
