Inter Miami CF II and Academy U-17 player Benjamin Cremaschi has been called up to the U.S. U-19 Men’s Youth National Team. Cremaschi is one of 33 players and one of 10 midfielders called up for a training camp at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, Calif.

The camp will run from April 22 to May 1 and will be run by new U-19 MYNT coach Marko Mitrović. It’s the first programming for this age group since the global COVID-19 pandemic shut down the sporting world in March 2020. The event will take place concurrently with the U-20 MYNT training camp in Carson, as U-19 players may be pulled to train with the U-20 team.

The event will be held in accordance with U.S. Soccer’s comprehensive Return to Play protocols.

Cremaschi, 17, recently shined at the 2022 Generation adidas Cup for the Inter Miami U-17 team, netting in the group stage and helping guide the team to a semifinal run. He has also featured for Inter Miami CF II in MLS NEXT Pro, making his professional debut in the team’s first game in the league, and scoring his first professional goal in a match against Philadelphia Union II.

Cremaschi joins the list of current and former Inter Miami CF Academy players to be called up to a national team. The list includes Noah Allen, who was recently called up to the U.S. U-20 MYNT; Edison Azcona, who has been called up to the Dominican national team at the youth and senior levels; Felipe Valencia, who has been called up to a U.S. U-15 MYNT camp; Logan Batiste, who has been called up to the U.S. U-17 MYNT for the UEFA Development Tournament; Tyler Hall, who has been called up to the U.S. U-17 MYNT on more than one occasion; and Santiago Morales, Justin Ellis and Tyler Austin, who have been called up to the U.S. U-15 MYNT, among others.
