Inter Miami signed Argentine defender Franco Negri ahead of the 2023 season. The left back, who can also be deployed in midfield, bolstered the First Team roster and provided experience ahead of the 2023 campaign.
Prior to joining the Club, the San MartÃn, Argentina born racked up 132 appearances across all competitions, including 45 in Argentina’s first division and four in the prestigious CONMEBOL Copa Sudamericana, registering seven goals and four assists. Negri spent the entirety of his career playing in his native Argentina before coming to South Florida; representing Club Atlético San Lorenzo de Almagro (2012-2018), Quilmes Atlético Club (2016-2017 on loan), Club Sportivo Independiente Rivadavia (2017-2018 on loan and 2018-2020), Club Atlético Belgrano (2020-2021), Club Atlético Newell’s Old Boys (2021) and Club Deportivo Godoy Cruz (2022).
